Our Process

The Building Process

Our objective is to offer our clients the best possible service and an experience that is smooth and easy. We take care of everything from the initial design through to the construction phase, handover day, and beyond. Below is an overview of the building process, explaining each stage and what you can expect along the way:

 Initial Preparations

The initial stage starts after the building contract is signed and continues until construction begins, typically taking 6-8 weeks. During this time, our Project Coordinator will begin organizing materials, setting start dates, and coordinating with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure everything is ready to begin.

 Construction Begins

This is where you’ll start to see the project take shape. The subfloor is laid, the frame is constructed, and the roof is installed. During this phase, insulation, plastering, and the rough-in for plumbing and electrical systems are completed. The final details, such as waterproofing, tiling, kitchen installation, plumbing and electrical fittings (including white goods), architraves, trims, and the installation of shower screens and mirrors are also done.

 Final Touches

The final stage involves completing all painting, installing floor coverings, and adding window treatments. A termite protection barrier is applied, and a comprehensive cleaning of both the interior and exterior is conducted. Once the final inspection is complete and everything is approved, a handover will be arranged between the site supervisor and the client.

 Drafting

Once an Offer to Purchase is made, a new file will be created and a final Site Inspection will be conducted. A complete set of plans will then be drawn up, and we will be ready to move forward to the next stage.

Preparing the Contract

The plans and file will be passed to our Administration team for review. All necessary documents, including the soil report, bushfire rating, 6-star energy rating, and connections quote, will be collected. If Town Planning approval is required, our team will liaise with the council. The contract will be prepared and sent to the client for review.

 Contract Day

A specific day will be set to go through the contract details with the client. During this meeting, colour selections will also take place. This includes choosing paint colours, cladding styles, floor coverings, tiles, taps, fixtures, finishes for benchtops and cabinetry, window coverings, and more. Once all documents have been reviewed and plans finalized, the client will sign the contract, and the construction process will begin.
